Blog on Satin Jackets by Gary Glacier

Progressive house has to be one of my most favorite styles of house music. There is nothing you can’t do while listening to it. Work out, study, do chores around the house, hanging out with friends to even relaxing on a lazy Sunday. Many people are quick to label it “elevator music” but I beg to differ. It truly is a musical drug if you let it consume you.
Jump back to circa 2010 and you might find a group called Satin Jackets banging out remixes in a studio somewhere in Germany. Started as a studio project to remix songs they have evolved in a production team that produces, in my opinion, some fine, classy, sexy music. Their original music production really makes them stand out with crisp beat patterns, hypnotizing vocals and easy flowing melodies. That makes them a regular in my musical rotation. Check out their sound below and let me know what you think.
